The Technology in Teaching Innovators are a group of mostly SHE academics who are interested in trialling and adopting new technologies in their teaching, sharing what they have learnt with their colleagues, and encouraging others to innovate – all in the name of improving the student experience. The group is regularly consulted when it comes to improving the University’s learning environment, e.g. in the course of LMS upgrades or setting AV standards. The group encompasses academics from a wide range of disciplines, many of whom do not consider themselves experts in technology, and includes reps from Education Services and Information Services.
